It's hard to say exactly when the idea arose to make a space in the mold of the Institute. Today, looking back, I see how this is an old dream. From the moment I became aware that the set of works that I was getting formed a collection, I felt the need to have a space where this collection would be displayed publicly and shared with all who love art. So it was natural that this space has the primary purpose of the visual arts.
We take care to build a building with lots of light and visibility, where visitors find peace and place in which they are to have a broad view of the exhibition. Along with an audience we did so we can offer lectures and courses with the best artists and professionals working in various areas, in order to foster the exchange of ideas and facilitate discussions on cultural topics of collective interest.
There is still the library catalogs of exhibitions happening or happened in the last two decades, books about artists, art, architecture, as well as videos and other contemporary media.
It is a space that aims to bring a cultural discussion Ribeirão Preto quality, where all people and opinions will be very welcome.
Enjoy.
